DTE!

We are officially DTE!  That means our dossier has reached Ethiopia & we are officially on THE LIST!  We won't know our official number until the new list comes out which is usually the beginning of the month.  We should be around #10 on the HIV list!  They are still estimating 6-9 months for a referral but it could be much sooner or later than that as there's no way to know for sure.  We still want to be ready with the funds ASAP just in case so we don't lose our referral. 

Thank you to EVERYONE for your love, support & prayers!  Keep it up because unfortunately the wait is going to get harder & harder!  We will wait for a referral, then we will wait for court to meet our child(ren) & then we will wait to bring them home.  Lots of waiting but can't WAIT to see our child(ren) for the first time!  I know God knows when that will be & I am praying for PATIENCE during this waiting.  I KNOW his timing is perfect but it's not always easy to believe that in my head!

PUZZLE

Today's post is to update you on our Puzzle Fundraiser.

If you were not aware, we created a 252 piece puzzle.  We are asking friends, family, strangers, etc to sponsor pieces of the puzzle for $20 each.  When you sponsor a puzzle piece(s) we will write your name or family's name on the back of the puzzle piece to forever remember your love & support in bringing our child home!  This puzzle will be framed with 2 sided glass & hung in our house.  Please consider sponsoring a puzzle piece!  


The puzzle lists the adoption's creed "Not flesh of my flesh nor bone of my bone but still miraculously my own.  Never forget for a single minute, you didn't grow under my heart but in it."

Donations can be made in a few different ways.  If you see us on a regular basis you can donate by cash or check.  If you wish to mail us a check, send me an email for our address, terribeth07@earthlink.net.  If you do not see us or if it is just more convenient, you can donate via paypal.  There is a Donate Button on our homepage that will direct you to paypal or you can send it direct to our account at lance9704@earthlink.net. Using the Donate Button will take a small percentage out for paypal fees but giving directly to our account will not.  

Tax Deductible Donations can be made to West Sands Adoptions 1240 East 100 South #1 St. George, Utah 84790, just note our names on it.  They will mail you a receipt. We would love to hear from you if you do send a donation so we can show our appreciation & also keep track of our donations.

Whatever is easier for you will be perfectly fine & MUCH appreciated.

We have a lot to raise in a short amount of time but are trusting God to provide the funds!  If you don't have the funds we COMPLETELY understand.  You can still help in 2 BIG ways!  Help us sell sheets (see other post) and most importantly pray for our adoption and for the funds to come!

February Sell-a-thon Sheets Fundraiser

Show some LOVE this February & help us sell some amazing sheets to raise money for our adoption. You DO NOT HAVE TO BUY ANY yourself to help!

We are adopting 1 or 2 HIV + children from Ethiopia & need YOUR help in raising the funds. It's no surprise that adoption is expensive. We are following God's calling for our family to adopt but do not have the funds ourselves to do it. We are trusting God to provide the money from elsewhere to make this possible.

HERE'S HOW YOU CAN HELP:

The sheets are $35 per set (plus shipping if not picking up). Available in King, Queen, Full, Twin & Cal King sizes. Navy Blue, Sage, Mocha, Camel, Gray, Aqua, Black, Eggplant, White, Cream, Burgundy & Chocolate. The sheets must be ordered in sets of 12 to receive free shipping.

We are asking YOU to help us SELL sheets. You can promote & sell to your friends, family & coworkers & I can have the sheets shipped directly to you to distribute. This means even if you aren't local to us, you can still do this! We want to reward you for your help. If you place an order of at least 12 sets you can get 1 set of sheets for yourself for FREE! From what I've seen so far, these sheets pretty much sell themselves! If you are unable to sell 12 sets yourself & are local, I can combine them with another order to submit together to get free shipping.

We want to try to sell as many sheets as possible this month as we have no idea how soon we will receive a referral of a child(ren) & need to have the funds available immediately to accept the referral. Just so you know we will need $9,700 RIGHT AWAY if we get a referral of 1 child & $15,200 if we have 2 siblings. That's a lot I know but I KNOW God will provide!

These are amazing sheets at an amazing price! You can't even get cheap sheets for this price! These are made out of a high strength Micro Fiber and are made to compare to the 1200 Thread count. They fit up to 16 inch mattress. Everyone who has purchased them so far has been very happy.

Off to Ethiopia!

Our Dossier is FINALLY on it's way to Ethiopia today!  I say finally because I've been dying for it to get there but really it was normal timeline getting it authenticated in Utah & DC.  It should hopefully arrive in Ethiopia early next week & then we'll be officially put in the waiting list!  Hopefully we don't have to stay on list TOO long but that also means we need LOTS of money QUICK in case we get a quick referral!  Check out our fundraising page to see how you can help!
